When it comes to food battles, it’s never too late for a new player to enter the game. Chester’s Chicken, a chain with more than 1,000 locations, has just relaunched its fried chicken sandwich with a new bun, new chicken, and new sauce. The breast fillet is marinated and double-breaded, topped with the brand’s tangy proprietary sauce and crunchy crinkle-cut dill pickles, between a Martin’s Famous Potato Roll (the bun of choice for many restaurateurs). Needless to say, this fried chicken revamp looks more stacked and juicy than the original; hopefully the tinkering pays off.
