Chester’s Chicken brought its signature menu to Yatco, a convenience retail and fuel operator founded in Worcester that has grown throughout New England. The first Chester’s inside a Yatco store celebrated its grand opening Sept. 17 with a Salute to Service Members offer for military members, police, firefighters, EMS personnel and other service members. Free samples and giveaways were also part of the day.
Yatco has served its community for more than 30 years, and the new partnership was already gaining momentum, with plans underway for a second location. “When operators choose Chester’s, they’re trusting us to bring quality food to the communities they serve, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly,” said Wynn Giles, Chester’s CEO.
The opening was part of Chester’s continued expansion through partnerships with convenience retailers, travel centers, supermarkets and other non-traditional locations. Founded in 1952 in Montgomery, Alabama, Chester’s now has more than 1,200 locations across the U.S. and Canada.
